Chewie, we're home. Today Disney and Lucasfilm have released the latest sneak peek trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.  Much to see there is, in this full trailer. Feast your Jedi eyes on this tasty treat!

 

 

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is set to come out this Christmas and will be featuring the return of several of our favorite characters. The full list can be found here for the whole cast.

Disney XD released today an interesting clip off the first 7 minutes of the premiere episode of Star Wars Rebels.  For the most part the snippet is pretty enticing and I can't wait for the remaining 20 minutes of the Star Wars TV show.  One can't help but notice the similarities to one of Disney's popular films, Aladdin.



Besides the two locales looking very similar, dry desert.  The two main characters, meet Ezra the street smart hero according to StarWars.com, and Aladdin the street . . . smart . . . errh, hero according to Disney.  They also share very similar looks! Minus the eye color, they are very much alike. Even the same dumbfounded facial expressions.

There still hasn't been an official announcement for the next installment of the Star Wars saga, Episode VII, as of yet but there is a semi-reliable source?  According to AICN.com has reliably heard from a guy that works with J.J. Abrams that the current working title for Episode VII is  The Ancient Fear.  Right? Gives you goosebumps doesn't it.  According to that guy that knows Abrams to this guy, the working titles stems from the villain:

The title refers to Max Von Sydow's villain who makes Pazuzu look like a pussy!
-That Guy That Knows Abrams

I am really liking the working title so far. Hopefully they won't end up changing it to something else that isn't as strong.

Star Wars VII Cast

Long have we already known that the Star Wars franchise was already bringing back some of the big boys from the original Star Wars trilogy, but today StarWars.com has announced the additional cast members to join the crew after a read-through at the Pinewood Studios.  Here is the cast listing:

I know we at ComicScoop are extremely excited to see how Abrams handles the Star Wars franchise, as he has done well with another popular Science-Fiction/Action-Adventure film.  Only time will tell.
